San Vigilio

“Bon dé” means good day in Ladin.
Two short words that mean a sincere and warm welcome from the inhabitants of San Vigilio di Marebbe (“Al Plan”) and all the staff at “Les Alpes”

Why San Vigilio?

• Because it is an old town, at an altitude of 1200 metres, in the splendid setting of the Dolomites.
• Because it is the centre of a millenarian culture, that of the Ladins, which continues to survive in an area that is historically and culturally varied – Mediterranean, Alpine and Ladin.
• Because San Vigilio is at the heart of a series of protected natural areas : Fanes, Sennes and Braies.
• Because our town is the departure point for some of the most beautiful routes in South Tyrol and some of Europe’s most envied ski runs.
• Because you will want to come back to San Vigilio again and again…
